17 suburban trains cancelled in Chennai

Southern Railway announced cancellation of 17 suburban trains and partial cancellation of 19 others on Sunday. This due to work at Chengalpet yard.Railways will run passenger specials from Chennai Beach to Singaperumal Koil via Tambaram departing Chennai Beach at 4.55am, 5.45am, 6.25am, 7.05am, 7.40am, 3pm and 3.50pm. Similarly passenger specials operated from Singaperumal Koil to Chennai Beach via Tambaram departing Singaperumal Koil.

The cancelled trains include:

Arakkonam–Chengalpet local leaving at 5.35am, Chengalpet–Arakkonam local leaving at 8.20m, Chennai Beach–Tirumalpur local leaving at 6pm, . Chennai Beach–Chengalpet local leaving at 7.40am, Chennai Beach–Chengalpet local leaving at 3pm, Chennai Beach–Chengalpet local leaving at 3.50pm. Chengalpet-Chennai Beach local leaving at 7.25am, Chengalpet-Chennai Beach local leaving at 8.10am. hengalpet-Chennai Beach local leaving at 8.50am, Chengalpet-Chennai Beach local leaving Chengalpattu at 9.05am. Similarly Chengalpet- Chennai Beach local leaving at 5pm and Chengalpet-Chennai Beach local leaving Chengalpet at 5.50pm.

The partially cancelled trains in Tambaram-Chengalpet-Tirumalpur section are:
Chennai Beach–Chengalpet local leaving 6am. Similarly Chennai Beach–Chengalpet local leaving at 6.45am, Chennai Beach–Chengalpet local leaving at 10.35am, Chennai Beach–Chengalpet local leaving at 11.15am. Chennai Beach–Chengalpet local leaving at 12noon, Chennai Beach–Chengalpet local leaving at 1pm, Chennai Beach–Tirumalpur local leaving at 1.30pm, Chennai Beach–Chengalpet local leaving at 2pm, Kancheepuram -Chennai Beach local leaving Kancheepuram at 7.05am. Similarly Tirumalpur-Chennai Beach local leaving at 7.50am, Chengalpet-Chennai Beach local leaving at 8.30am, Kancheepuram-Chennai Beach local leaving at 9.45am. After that Chengalpet-Chennai Beach local leaving at 10.15am, Chengalpet-Chennai Beach local leaving at 11pm, Chengalpet-Chennai Beach local leaving at 1.25pm, Chengalpet-Chennai Beach local leaving at 2.15pm. Similarly Chengalpet-Chennai Beach local leaving at 3.05pm, Chengalpet-Chennai Beach local leaving at 4.05pm,
Tirumalpur-Chennai Beach local leaving at 6.15pm.
