A MAN KILLED HIS WIFE FOR NOT PROVIDING ENOUGH DOWRY.

A 22 year old women named zoya was put to death by her husband. she was been married to sabir, now almost for six months. until date she was pressurized to give more dowry.

the incident took place in muzzafarnagar district of Delhi. zoyas father later filed case against all her in laws.

earlier a pregnant woman was also put to death by her husband. this incident had also taken place in the same village.

the woman’s body was later thrown in the Ganga. which is still not found.

zoya’s husband is now arrested by the respective district police.

sadly our society today still demands for dowry. and many women are even put to death by their in laws for this reason. society needs to change. and understand that a women should not be compared to dowry.

zoya’s father in law and brother in law who pressurized her weren’t arrested. there are many such women who are killed everyday for the same reason.

but their cases are not even reported. their bodies are thrown where no one can reach them.
