This is a stereotype considered mostly, that after having a child and getting married the professional dreams of women are no more achievable. This stereotype has been broken by a mother from Patna, Bihar.
Secured Rank 90th in UPSC conducted by civil services examination 2019, the results were declared on Tuesday. Anupama who was a doctor practiced in a government hospital for three years but later on decided to resign to continue with the preparations.
Revealing about her journey she said that her son Anay was 3-year-old when she decided to move to Delhi for preparation. Parting away from her son was the most difficult job that she had to do.
She said that Study after marriage and kids is tougher than the pre-marriage phase. There is a responsibility on one’s shoulder and emotional bond with the kid. Her mother and father-in-law were no more, so the responsibility of her son was on her husband moreover her sister-in-law moved to Ranchi especially to look after her son.
Anupama has completed her education from Patna itself and did her mobs from Patna medical college and hospital while got her MS degree in 2014.
