The drug controller general of India (DGCI) has granted the permission regarding the trials of the vaccine produced by Russia ‘sputnik-v’ . The vaccine testing permission has been given to Dr. Reddy’s , which is a pharmaceutical company and have headquarters in India as well.
As per the Reports of sources , it says that the company Dr. Reddy’s has been allowed to conduct a human trial of phase 3 and 4 respectively in order to ensure the safety of people of India .
“This is a significant development that allows us to commence the clinical trials in India and we are committed to bringing in a safe and efficacious vaccine to combat the pandemic,” this is the statement of Gv prasad who is co-chairman and managing director of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories.
However the vaccine was registered by russia on august 11 and the President of russia said that the vaccine production has been started in the country.
