Students who live in Chennai came. However those in far-flung areas were not able to attend classes citing lack of transport.

DG Vaishnav College recorded less than 50% attendance. This among PG students and research scholars. Colleges planning to have their online semester exams from the second week of December. Some principals stated about the wrong time to reopen colleges as students preparing for the exams.
