Due to the current pandemic situation, the Government of Karnataka issued technical advisory committee recommendations. This for conducting Dasara celebration in Mysuru this year.
“Strongly, recommended making Dasara 2020 celebrations virtual for the public. So, the public not allowed for the planned activities,” the government order stated. The state government initiated virtual celebrations for the public.
The opening of the Dasara ceremony will be attended by Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa. Only maximum 200 people, including dignitaries, security personnel and administrative staff allowed to attend the event.
Cultural programme evening organised in Mysuru Palace. Not more than 50 people allowed in this event. Therefore event duration also curtailed to two hours.
The state government made RT-PCR negative testing report mandatory for all attending . Test considered if conducted after October 14.
