Kerala Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan announced a change in the norms for containment zones in the State.
The CM also informed that the police have been entrusted with responsibilities. Assisting the District Collector and the District Disaster Management Authority to locate and mark the containment zone in the wake of the virus outbreak. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the state a lot.
Now actions will be taken seriously. People are asked to follow the rules and maintain social distancing. The police have also been given the task of tracing and locating the primary and secondary contacts of those who test positive. They are transferred to the hospital or quarantine centre, as required. The contact tracing should be done within 24 hours.
A lot of people migrated when the lockdown was released. So the cases have increased. CM has inaugurated 102 Family Health Centres on Monday, built in the State as part of the Adam Mission. This has had benefits. The conversion of the primary health centre to family ones have helped people.
