Power cut announced for parts of Chennai and outskirts




Tangedco announced power cut in parts of Chennai and outskirts from 9am to 5pm on Saturday. Supply resumed before 5pm if work completed. According to an official release, supply suspended in Neelankarai, Injambakkam, Tondiarpet, Sathangadu, Alandur, Thirumudivakkam, Ambattur Industrial Estate area, Durainallur and Medur.

In Neelankarai, power cut in Mahatma Gandhi Nagar, Karpagavinayagar Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Ramalinga Nagar, Bharathi Street. Anna Street, Narayana Nagar and Gopinath Avenue.In Injambakkam, power cut in Kasturbai Nagar and Vettuvankeni. In Tondiarpet-Sathangadu area, power cut in Sathyamoorthy Nagar, Annai Gangai Amman Nagar, T K P Nagar, Ramasamy Nagar. Kargil Nagar, Rajai Nagar, Jayalalitha Nagar, Kamaraj Nagar and Vetrivinayagar Nagar.

Similarly in Alandur area, power cut in MKN Road, Ashurkhana, Alandur Main Road, Railway Junction Road, Madurai Street, Velachery Road, Officer Colony, SBI Colony, Race Course and nearby areas.

In Thirumudivakkam, power cut in parts of Kundrathur, Pazanthandalam, Erumaiyur, Varadharajapuram, Poonthandalam, Periyar nagar, Kundrathur Bazzar, Natham and nearby areas.

In Ambattur industrial estate area, power cut in Ambattur Industrial Estate south phase, Mugappair Industrial Estate. Also Southern Avenue Road & II main road, Reddy Street, Munusamy Street, Natesan Street and nearby areas. Similarly in Durainallur area, power cut in Arani, Sompattu, Puduvoyal, Peruvallur, Kavarapettai, Chinnambedu, Durainallur and nearby areas.

Across Medur area, there will be power cut in Medur, Pulicot, Avoorivakkam, Kollur, Arasur, Annamalaicherry and in Devambedu, Agaram, Kallore, Poongulam, Rakkampalayam and Seganiyum.
