Pranab Mukherjee passes away at 84

India’s former president and Congress veteran Pranab Mukherjee died today. He was 84. Seeking treatment at Delhi’s Army’s Research and Referral (R&R) Hospital. For a brain surgery.

However Mukherjee had tested positive for the coronavirus disease. After that he had undergone a successful surgery to remove a brain clot. However lately health was failing.

Various senior leaders expressed condolences to the family. Including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind.
