Most of us are sure to have put on weight with this lockdown. Staying at home doing very little physical exercise would have aided this.Dropping a few pounds or getting in better shape is what all of want.Here are some tips to for faster weight loss.

  • Set a goal
    Came up with a SMART goal.SMART stands for specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely. Set a reasonable and achievable goal.
  • Follow a high protein diet
    Cut down the carbs and add more protein to your diet.Not only does protein help build muscles, it also boosts your metabolism.
  • Drink more water
    From flushing toxins out of your body to keeping you hydrated, water is very much essential. Research shows that cold water burns more calories since body uses extra energy to warm water to body temperature.
  • Take the long way
    Instead of taking the lift choose the stairs. For shorter distances opt for either walking or cycling. A small increase in you daily step count can add to big results.
  • Practice a workout routine
    Make a list of daily workouts. Set a time limit each day and make sure you follow it each day.
  • Start small and celebrate your success
    Don’t set high goals each day.Start with minor ones and achieve progressively. Celebrate you achievements as it give you the motivation to work more.
  • Find a fitness partner or make working out a social activity
    Find a friend who has similar goals.Teaming up can benefit both of you.Or start a social club in you community. More company more interest.
  • Don’t stop midway
    Don’t give up midway. Take breaks but make sure you follow your routine.
