With the pace in which the technology is moving forward these days every morning we come across something new. We are all living in a society that now uses machines for every little thing and Artificial intelligence has started revolutionizing the globe. Artificial Intelligence is a branch of computer science that works on to create a computer system capable to react like a human being. With the fast growing development, in technology and innovation across the world, Artificial intelligence looks all set to rule the future. The future surely seems interesting and intriguing. However that one thought or rather fear of technology over powering humans is always there.
Robots are machines that are now used to perform the traditional tasks that humans used to do. Now several professions are taken up by robots. Robots are widely used in such industries as automobile manufacture to perform simple repetitive tasks, and in industries where work must be performed in environments hazardous to humans. Robots are equipped with the equivalent of human senses such as vision, touch, and the ability to sense temperature. Some are even given decision making abilities.
While the use of technology to create something beyond human capabilities can be helpful to some extent I feel it may also become problematic. Though they may be much more equipped the aspect of human emotions and human touch is lost. We have come to a stage where it has become impossible, to move on in life without AI. Cars, ATMs, TVs and a lot of things we use everyday, contain computers. Technology has become intel, ligent making our lives easier. For eve, rything we have an easy way out now. Of course we surely are excelling technologically but depending too much on it will surely make us loose what we have.
A balance between technology and human resource should always be maintained to attain actual growth. No matter how much we try to give a machine the qualities or characteristics of a human, the human contact can never be achieved. It shouldn’t become too late before we realise that real human intelligence and man power is far more powerful than artificial intelligence and robotics.
